About the Academy
The Academy is an online learning portal designed exclusively for educators and parents. Instant access to hours and hours of relevant content for you to be inspired, expand your knowledge and leverage your positive impact on the lives of young children around the world.
Our course library is steadily growing and regularly updated.
The Academy showcases an extensive range of content, both internationally relevant as well as locally specific. The Academy enables you to develop a global perspective on early childhood education practices and principles.
Course length varies depending on the topic and presenter. The majority of our courses are about 1 hour, but we also offer mini-courses that provide valuable insights in 30 minutes and less.
General Usage
Of course! Your Learning Dashboard tracks your progress on every course. Your video will be right where you left it when you come back to the course. Once you've finished a course, you will unlock a certificate showing that you have completed it.
No worries! All of our LIVE events are recorded and the courses are available in your Learning Dashboard. You have the option to attend LIVE to interact with the instructors and ask questions or can watch the replays whenever it's convenient for you.
Yes! Certificates of completion are available for most completed sessions and are stored in your account for easy retrieval at any time.
From your Account Information page, you can find a list of all your completed courses. You can also re-visit courses that you have already completed for extended learning opportunities.
If you have a suggestion for a specific course, topic, or content you would like to see added to the Academy please contact [email protected].
With an All Access Academy Membership, you will have access to ALL CONTENT available on the Academy site. There is no limit to the number of courses you can watch with this package. We also offer course bundles with a select number of courses.
The content on the Academy is available to members 24/7 from within academy.educa.com. Additional resources like slides and worksheets can be downloaded but not the actual course videos.
Not at this time. However, whenever you login to your Academy Dashboard, you will see your courses that are "In Progress" and be able to easily resume your watching and learning.
From your Account Information page, you can find a list of certificates for all of your completed courses. From there, you can download and print each one as a PDF.
Membership Details
Each teacher will need their own membership. This ensures that certificates can be issued in the correct name and individual progress can be tracked. The Academy provides affordable resources directly to teachers and districts and asks that everyone abide by the terms of the license to keep prices low.
Yes! Membership includes access to all LIVE events, recorded content, and peer study groups that available at the time they become members, as well as all new launches.
Yes! Peer Inquiry Groups used to be sold separately, but for a limited time our members will get exclusive access included with membership.
The monthly membership option is valid for one month at a time. It bills automatically each month so there is no interruption in your access. The yearly membership option is valid for one year. It bills automatically each year and you’ll be sent an email reminder before the renewal occurs.
Your license to use the products remains active as long as you are a monthly or annual member and ends if you cancel. You can cancel either subscription at any time before the next renewal, but there are no refunds.
For Educa Users
At this point you cannot automatically transfer your Academy certificates to your Educa profile. However, you can manually download PDF versions of your certificates of completion from your Account Information page and upload them into the Development Notes section of your Educa profile.
The Academy is a content offering independent from the Educa platform. Within the Academy we have endeavored to keep the pricing at the lowest level possible to cover the costs of the platform and the presenters.
