Mental Health Professional Kaite Scott

Kaite graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Applied Arts in Child Development with a passion to serve children and families. Kaite served as a full time national service member with AmeriCorps in a Head Start location and then with the Children's Defense Fund program Freedom School. Following this, Kaite was a preschool and toddler educator at the University of Michigan's North Campus Children's Center where she first learned of the magic of Learning Stories. Kaite has since earned her Masters of Social Work degree with a concentration in Children and Family Services from Eastern Michigan University. Kaite is now an Infant Mental Health and Adolescent clinical social worker providing therapeutic spaces for families to play, connect, process and grow. Katie infuses therapeutic horticulture, music and joy into her work with children.
